How Do You Choose a Sniper Scope?

When it comes to choosing a sniper scope, scope magnification is the variable most often under debate.  Law enforcement regulations make a lower number—no higher than 6x scope magnification–more practical.  (Law enforcement personnel are usually unauthorized to take a shot at over 100 yards.)  Military needs are usually very different, and a medium to high number such as 10x scope magnification is more appropriate for those circumstances.

For a civilian or tactical competitor, a variable scope magnification between 3x and 10x may make the most sense, as it will be useful in most instances unless the competitions take place at very long distances.  For general purposes such as game hunting, many sportsmen have had great success with a scope magnification of about 10x.

RiflescopeThose early morning outings into the woods can be extremely dark at times, meaning you won’t see fast moving game. Unless, of course, you can see in the dark. ME, I can barely see in the light so the Night Owl Night Shot 19/1 rifelscopes are a real God-sent. No more sitting on the sidelines while everyone else uses their superior eyesight to hunt.

Wherever I am and however dark it is I get crystal clear vision through this rifle scope. When you add in the precision and quality of the optics equipment it’s more than just another great bargain.
